Broken Window Repair
Your home is a place where most people feel safe and protected from, well, everything! If you find yourself with a broken window for any reason, BE CAREFUL! The glass, of course, is very sharp and tiny pieces can go flying further than you might think. We recommend vacuuming the area a few times very thoroughly, making sure to get into any and all crevices and corners, and underneath anything around the broken glass to make sure small pieces are not left behind.
We can also help with the clean up! Depending on the severity of the break, we can also help to secure the window if the glass is completely broken until the window can be repaired. If you have a broken window, give us a call for a free estimate and we would be happy to help! Our glass tech(s) will come in to measure the space thoroughly and we will order the new insulated unit. Depending on their makeup, insulated units can take a few days to a few weeks to receive.
Once received, we will call you to book an install date that is convenient for you. Installation typically (for one window repairs) is approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Having a broken window can be extremely unnerving for most homeowners
Window Repair FAQS
What are the different types of window repair? (Fogged, cracked??, etc)
- There are typically two types of window repair. One of the types is fogged windows. Having a fogged window just means that the insulation around the window has broken, allowing condensation to get through – reducing the overall r-value of your home (potentially).
Are windows usually repaired from inside the house? Or outside?
- It depends on the window! Some window repairs can be done on the outside, and some can be done on the inside. Our glass techs will be able to answer any questions you may have on-site when they come for the measure!
